President's Message

We hope this message finds you in happy anticipation of the coming of spring! As the weather becomes milder and the days become longer, we look forward to gathering in person and online for our regional conferences in the coming months.

We have received an overwhelming response to the launch of our 60th Anniversary Annual Conference theme of "Building the Future from a Strong Foundation." Thank you to everyone who has registered already, if you haven't had a chance to visit the new conference website, be sure to head on over to https://culinaryfederation.swoogo.com/cf23


Early bird registration prices close March 31st, and our discounted room rate at the Marriot of the Falls closes May 3rd, so don't delay in making your plans to join us in Niagara Falls this June.   Thank you to everyone who has renewed their membership so far for 2023! We appreciate your patience as we navigated some payment portal issues in January. We have upgraded to a new system that has been working seamlessly. If you experienced problems last month, we ask you to attempt renewal again, we are confident you will have no issues going forward.   To renew, go to www.culinaryfederation.ca and login, you should be prompted to renew. Last month we announced an exciting new partnership with the Nordic Embassy and the corresponding upcoming Sysco's Virtual Kitchen Nordic Mini-Series that will be featuring chefs from Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland! Tune in to SVK on February 23rd at 3pm EST for the first installment of this mini series with Chefs Arni, Hallur & Hinrik from Iceland.
