President's Message

Welcome to the April issue of the "Hot Off the Grill" Culinary Federation Newsletter!

It's hard to believe we are already more than halfway through the month of April. We hope this newsletter finds you with the weather getting warmer and the days getting longer.

Thank you to everyone who has registered so far to attend the CF22 National Conference in Saskatoon! We are getting more and more excited to gather in June. Watch your email in the coming weeks as we continue to highlight education sessions and tour day options. The plans are coming together for an amazing time of celebrating and educating all things culinary. If you haven't already registered, what are you waiting for? Click HERE for more information and to register.

Also, were you able to check out this week's Sysco's Virtual Kitchen Culinary Federation Chefs in the Field episode on April 19 - for a sneak peek to one of our conference program highlights – Wanuskewin Heritage Park? Head over to the Culinary Federation Facebook for a replay to learn more about this amazing facility.

Last month we held our first ever Family Food Culinary Knowledge Bowl! It was a battle of East vs. West with schools competing for a spot at the finals at the conference in June. NAIT was the winning team from the West, and Fanshawe College was the winning team from the East. We can't wait to see who comes out on top! You can watch all of the action HERE

As always, thank you for your continued support and membership, if there is anything you want to discuss regarding the Culinary Federation and your membership experience, please contact me at president@culinaryfederation.ca

Thank you,

Ryan Marquis
National President
